Azmat Nawaz brings over three decades of international experience in private equity, financial advisory, public-sector reform, and large-scale project delivery across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. An MBA from London Business School, he has led transactions exceeding USD 2 billion and built, restructured, and managed high-impact organizations in multiple sectors including infrastructure, healthcare, energy, real estate, and education. 

He has served in senior leadership roles in both government and private sector environments, including eight years as Chief Operating Officer of the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP), where he helped institutionalize modern governance, commercial discipline, and performance-driven systems in a traditionally complex bureaucratic environment. His work has consistently focused on strengthening institutional capacity, optimizing portfolios, enabling public-private partnerships, and ensuring rigorous governance and risk oversight.

As Chief Operating Officer of PFAS, Azmat contributes strategic judgment, transaction insight, and a deep understanding of government advisory needs. He plays a central role in ensuring that PFAS delivers high-quality, analytically rigorous, and commercially sound advisory services to departments across the Government of Punjab. His expertise spans transaction structuring, project development, financial modelling, risk allocation, capital planning, and organizational performance improvement.
